Shane D’Aprile is the President and Publisher of Campaigns & Elections magazine. D'Aprile led a redesign and overhaul of the editorial product, serving as C&E's Editor for just over three years before assuming the role of President and Publisher. Prior to C&E, he worked at The Hill newspaper where he covered Congress and the 2010 midterm elections. A New Jersey native, D'Aprile spent several years working in public radio covering city and state government in New York before coming to Washington, D.C. He received a B.A. from Fordham University, where he majored in political science and communications. He also holds an M.A. from Fordham’s Elections and Campaign Management program. His work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, the New York State AP Association and Public Radio News Directors Inc.
